Principal Duties and Accountabilities

– Deploying SAP Business Objects and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) centric BI solutions into operations.
– Excellent knowledge of data and reporting integrity, ETL, and other integration between the major systems:
.    SAP ECC 6.0
.    SAP Budget Planning and Consolation (BPC)
.    SAP Business Objects (Various technologies currently being evaluated and deployed)
.    SAP BW
– Should have experience in blueprint of the complete data life cycle, the logical and physical design in a fully integrated enterprise environment.
– Should Define and drive a current and future state architectural roadmap that ensures that all initiatives are aligned
– BW best practices
– Develops the Roadmap and manages the design, implementation and performance of business focused data marts
– Experience to Collaborate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and resolution of data quality issues.
– Define all standards, processes, procedures and tools required to support, maintain, manage and enhance the data flow.

This is a “hands on” position.  Candidates could be asked to travel to any location in the U.S.

Client in the Chicago area is currently doing a brand new BI implementation which consists of Business Objects 4.0 Webi reports pulling data from BI/BW 7.3 sitting on HANA and is pulling from financial content (GL, CO-PA).

Skills:

• Develop Webi reports pulling from SAP BW/BI.
• Experience with integrating Web Intelligence on top of SAP BW is preferred.

Initial project is for 9-10 wks but if all goes well and they win 2nd phase it will go through the year.
