Project Description:

Client needs assistance with ICD 9 to ICD 10 code application conversion.  This includes the migration to ICD-10 and the replatforming of the ROCS and DARTS application from a legacy PC Cobol system to a J2EE-based webservice.  It also includes migrating the legacy mainframe Unit Dose System to support the ICD-10 code structure.

Required/Desired Skills:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a desired minimum ten  years’ experience in formal information technology field.
  • 3 years of experience in  Crystal Report design and creation, including work with SAP infoview
  • 3 years of experience utilizing the following  Database development tools:
    • Erwin
    • SPUFI
    • DB2
  • 5 years of experience using DB2 relational database structures
  • Good working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate in a business setting.

  • Refine requirements for the programming consultants working on ICD 9 to ICD 10 code conversion.
  • Develop and document user requirements, testing requirements and perform match testing between documents and systems produced.
  • Oversee the programmer’s end-product in relation to the requirement documents produced by the Business Analyst(s).

Required/Desired Skills:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a desired minimum ten (10) years’ experience in formal information technology field.
  • 10 years experience establishing client requirements, business needs and project objectives, via feedback sessions and user meetings.   Interfacing between developers and users to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • 3 years of experience coordinating work and information needed between employees and outside contractors to meet project deadlines and client needs.
  • 3 years of experience working with users to define business requirements.
  • 3 years of experience in Development Methodologies working with Cobol Developers using DB2 for  two BA candidates and one candidate experience  working with JAVA using DB2.

Required/Desired Skills:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering  or a desired minimum ten (10)  years experience  in formal information technology field.
  • 6 years of experience following an Analysis and Design methodology.
  • 3 years of experience with teaching, mentoring and transferring knowledge to other team members.
  • 3 years recent experience working with State of Illinois agency in a true LEAD developer/COBOL role (overseeing other developers).  Please identify exact state agencies, dates, and project description(s) and provide reference name and contact information.
  • 6 years experience utilizing the following specific Mainframe development tools:
    • COBOL

    • CICS
    • Mobius
    • Crystal Reports
